Authentic Stories from Diners
Randomly found this place around the corner and found out it’s 2025 Michelin guide selected! And it was really amazing, prob the best meal I had. Our waiter Duy was super nice and helpful too! Can strongly recommend! The best dishes for me were: the beef salad (sour and spicy) and the pork belly with komquat sauce!
TOURIST TRAP to the moon and back. I should have listened to my Vietnamese friend instead of google 😂 If you want a restaurant with AC, this place is great. If you want authentic tasty Bánh xèo, please keep searching! The pancake was premade so it was cold and oily, and they just tossed some tasteless water boiled meat on top. I knew i made the wrong the decision the second i saw kimchi instead of pickled carrots and radishes on the plates. It was also served with lettuce and basil as vegetables, you know that can’t be right in Vietnam! Plus no rice paper to roll. We ordered the 599,000VND set which we ate about half of it. I was so disappointed the next day I went to another Bánh xèo restaurant to heal my broken soul 😂
We had a great dining experience here in Bep Cuon. We arrived as soon as they opened so there was no waiting time for a table. We ordered their Best Selling Combo for 599,000 and we were four for sharing. If you like vegetables this would be great for you, but if you're a meat fan, they have other options you can choose from. Special thanks to our server Nhu Y, friendly and approachable.
Our spa therapist recommended Bep Cuon and it did not disappoint. We wrote our name down and waited for about 10 minutes on a Tue afternoon. We were then brought to the second floor where it was quieter. We ordered their combo (559,000 VND), which included several deep-fried items and bánh xèo—perfect for sampling a variety of dishes. The staff kindly showed us how to wrap everything with the herbs and rice paper, which was really helpful. Our favorite was a light, crispy deep-fried dumpling that looked a bit like a shrimp rangoon—super airy and delicious. The spring roll was our least favorite, as the wrapper was a bit tough and chewy, but overall the flavors were sweet with a slight tang, and the textures were enjoyable. The combo included a virgin mojitos with calamansi; very refreshing, and asking for less sugar made them perfect. Overall, a great lunch for trying multiple dishes, and we later found out they also have a Da Nang location—good to know for next time. They accept credit card and there are a lot of tourists!
this food was incredible. favorite dish was definitely the bep cuon combo 2. the pork and shrimp pancake rolled into the spring roll provided was an incredible array of flavor. we also ordered the tom su sot bo toi an kem banh bao chien, which was good as well, a little less savory than expected, but delicious. finally we ordered the Ba Chi Gion Da Mam Tac. the sauce it came with was incredible and the crispy edges of the pork were delicious. definitely recommend to stop by for a bite.
