This Mekong Delta Premium Tour with Speedboat & Lunch begins in Ho Chi Minh City, departing early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat and maximize time on the water. The journey follows the winding Mekong River, traveling southward into the heart of the delta region. Guests board a comfortable speedboat that swiftly navigates the river's channels, offering close-up views of the lush landscape and traditional river life. Along the route, the boat stops at several villages and small islands where visitors can step ashore to visit local homes, tropical fruit gardens, and artisanal workshops. The day includes a midday meal featuring regional specialties served at a riverside restaurant, providing a chance to taste fresh, locally sourced ingredients while enjoying views of the water. Key stops include a bee farm where the hum of busy bees fills the air and the scent of wildflowers lingers, allowing visitors to observe honey production methods that have been practiced for generations. At a fish farm, the sight and sound of carp and catfish swimming beneath wooden docks highlight the importance of aquaculture in the delta’s economy. The tour also visits a tropical garden abundant with jackfruit, durian, and rambutan trees, where the sweet and sometimes pungent aromas mingle. Visitors walk through shaded pathways lined with fruit trees and seasonal flowers, experiencing the delta’s natural bounty firsthand. Traditional basket weaving demonstrations and local markets showcase the daily crafts and trade that sustain these communities. Tour groups are kept small, generally capped at around 12 participants, to maintain an intimate atmosphere and allow the guide to engage with each guest. The guide provides detailed explanations in clear English, sharing insights into the daily life, farming techniques, and environmental challenges of the Mekong Delta. Transport is handled via a modern air-conditioned coach from Ho Chi Minh City to the boat dock, followed by the speedboat ride along the river. The itinerary balances time on the water with short walks in shaded, flat terrain, making the pace manageable but active. This tour is well-suited for travelers interested in rural life and ecological systems, as well as those who appreciate fresh local food and gentle outdoor activity. It offers a break from the urban environment of Ho Chi Minh City, inviting participants to observe and absorb the rhythms of one of Southeast Asia's most important river ecosystems. Individuals who enjoy photography or have an interest in agriculture and traditional crafts will find the stops particularly engaging.

We enjoyed our dining experience here at Hoa Tuc, the place is just perfect in vibe and service. We ordered their Crab fried rice w/ green chili & garlic sauce (5/5), Grilled honey pork ribs (4/5), Crab salad with pink pomelo (5/5) and, Shrimp & pork fresh rolls (3/5). The service was fast as long as you have a reservation, everything is going to be easy.

Went twice this week and both times the food was outstandingly excellent. Fresh, tasty, balanced and bursting with flavour - when the food is that good, it was not a surprise to see the restaurant full on both occasions. Hard to imagine that Vietnamese food can get much better than this - SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!

Came here because of the Michelin recommendation, but honestly left disappointed. The biggest letdown was the service. Very passive, static, and uninterested. No warmth, no engagement, no sense of hospitality. I’m also giving one star for the atmosphere. We were seated directly under the air conditioning, which was blowing straight onto our heads. Even though there were other free tables, the staff was not keen to relocate us after we asked. It made the experience uncomfortable from the start. The food itself was fine. Ingredients felt fresh and flavors were okay, but nothing memorable or distinctive, especially considering the prices. Overall, it didn’t live up to the expectations that come with a Michelin mention. Not bad, but far from special.

This restaurant offers modern Vietnamese cuisine and comes with a Michelin recommendation, but the overall experience falls short of that standard. The food is fine—modern, well-presented, and competently executed—but nothing particularly memorable or special, especially given the expectations that come with a Michelin mention. The service is where the experience really suffers. The staff make no effort to engage, explain dishes, ask questions, or create a welcoming atmosphere. They simply bring the menu, take the order, deliver the food, and disappear. There is no sense of hospitality or attentiveness. Considering the price point, the level of service is disappointing and does not match what you would expect from a Michelin-recommended restaurant. Overall, an okay meal, but far from a Michelin-level experience.

every dish honestly surprised me!!!! the flavours really pop and hit in the best way. nothing felt bland and each dish had its own character. definitely a must visit in ho chi minh, especially if you love local special cuisine! * the place can get quite crowded and noisy from all the talking, but still worth a visit
