Authentic Stories from Diners
During our vacation in Vietnam, we were craving sushi. After doing some research, we ended up at Mayonaka Sushi, based on photos and reviews. This restaurant did not disappoint: we don't often eat sushi this delicious. The “Grilled salmon with sweet sauce” maki is especially recommended! The staff were also very friendly and the service was excellent. We even got salmon sashimi on the house! All in all, I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Fantastic sushi in the center of Saigon, meters away from Bui Vien. The sushi was very tasty, we didn't have to wait long for our order, even though we ordered more several times. Great place. Reasonable price list.
As a Japanese cuisine super lovers I have the right to give them a 10 star rate! It combines traditional normal Japanese food plus some inventional Vietnamese local food to become a special Japanese dish. Price is reasonable compared to local. Very delicious. 5 star food plus 5 star service. Excellent!
I came here because of the good reviews. The sushi was good, but I’ve had better sushi in Ho Chi Minh City. Truffle is used in many of the dishes here, which you need to like. The service, however, was very attentive, friendly, and polite.
Best sushi in Vietnam! Service is 10/10 food is 10/10. And prices are reasonable. Great for a date night or even for a solo meal. The experience of sitting at the bar and watching your sushi be expertly handmade provides an experience like no other! Definitely visit when you’re in hcmc
