This experience suits travelers who appreciate traditional performing arts and are interested in local customs presented in an accessible format. It is ideal for those seeking an evening activity that differs from typical urban nightlife, including families with older children, cultural enthusiasts, and visitors wanting to combine live entertainment with other Ho Chi Minh City experiences like river dining or scenic city rides. This Mekong Delta Premium Tour with Speedboat & Lunch begins in Ho Chi Minh City, departing early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat and maximize time on the water. The journey follows the winding Mekong River, traveling southward into the heart of the delta region. Guests board a comfortable speedboat that swiftly navigates the river's channels, offering close-up views of the lush landscape and traditional river life. Along the route, the boat stops at several villages and small islands where visitors can step ashore to visit local homes, tropical fruit gardens, and artisanal workshops. The day includes a midday meal featuring regional specialties served at a riverside restaurant, providing a chance to taste fresh, locally sourced ingredients while enjoying views of the water. Key stops include a bee farm where the hum of busy bees fills the air and the scent of wildflowers lingers, allowing visitors to observe honey production methods that have been practiced for generations. At a fish farm, the sight and sound of carp and catfish swimming beneath wooden docks highlight the importance of aquaculture in the delta’s economy. The tour also visits a tropical garden abundant with jackfruit, durian, and rambutan trees, where the sweet and sometimes pungent aromas mingle. Visitors walk through shaded pathways lined with fruit trees and seasonal flowers, experiencing the delta’s natural bounty firsthand. Traditional basket weaving demonstrations and local markets showcase the daily crafts and trade that sustain these communities. Tour groups are kept small, generally capped at around 12 participants, to maintain an intimate atmosphere and allow the guide to engage with each guest. The guide provides detailed explanations in clear English, sharing insights into the daily life, farming techniques, and environmental challenges of the Mekong Delta. Transport is handled via a modern air-conditioned coach from Ho Chi Minh City to the boat dock, followed by the speedboat ride along the river. The itinerary balances time on the water with short walks in shaded, flat terrain, making the pace manageable but active. This tour is well-suited for travelers interested in rural life and ecological systems, as well as those who appreciate fresh local food and gentle outdoor activity. It offers a break from the urban environment of Ho Chi Minh City, inviting participants to observe and absorb the rhythms of one of Southeast Asia's most important river ecosystems. Individuals who enjoy photography or have an interest in agriculture and traditional crafts will find the stops particularly engaging.

Authentic Stories from Diners
We tried their delicious Banh Mi and it was absolutely lip-smacking! The staff were extremely friendly, and we even got to meet the owner, who personally guided us and mingled with guests. Price is little higher side from street foods .. Highly recommended if you want to experience one of the best Banh Mi spots in Saigon. 🇻🇳🥖
Really cute place with really great food. Staff is very cute and friendly as well. Definitely recommend. We tried the chicken and the pork bahn mi sandwiches and both were great. The watermelon fresh juice was really sweet and the lemonade was really sour. It’s definitely more popular among tourists so it’s more expensive than buying oneon the street.
We ordered four different bahn mi sandwiches at this restaurant on a Sunday evening about three weeks into our trip. There was no wait for us and the service was prompt and attentive. The staff spoke English quite well and helped us with the menu. We tried pork shoulder, pork belly, beef, and fish; each of the meats had its own distinct and delicious flavor. You can choose from four sauces for the sandwich. They use a pork pate although there is also a vegetarian mushroom pate option (which we didn’t try). The restaurant itself has a lot of character. You pay more for the premium sandwich ingredients but the perfectly balanced flavors are totally worth it if it’s in your price range. We recommend this restaurant as these are some of our most favorite sandwiches in Vietnam to date.
I absolutely fell in love with this little restaurant. I stayed in Ho Chi Minh City for 6 days, and I came here 4 times — that says everything. The sandwiches are incredible, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The fresh juices are amazing too; everything you see in the photos was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely kind and nice, and the owner was such a warm and friendly man. He personally came to each table every day to ask customers for feedback. This is what real customer service looks like. Highly recommended
We stopped by our second night in Saigon and we love this place! The staff were so friendly and the gentleman who took our order was very sincere and helpful. Most restaurant staff in VN are not so friendly unless you’re at an upscale place, but My Banh Mi folks were great. The food arrived quickly and was so tasty too! The bread was fresh, hot, and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The extra sauce that was recommended to us was a nice addition. It’s a cozy spot with decent seating. We got there right around 6pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t quite busy yet, but by the time we left, there were several full tables. Highly recommend!
