Tours & Activities in Ho Chi Minh City

This experience suits travelers who appreciate traditional performing arts and are interested in local customs presented in an accessible format. It is ideal for those seeking an evening activity that differs from typical urban nightlife, including families with older children, cultural enthusiasts, and visitors wanting to combine live entertainment with other Ho Chi Minh City experiences like river dining or scenic city rides. The show’s gentle pace and seating arrangement make it suitable for a wide range of guests.

This Mekong Delta Premium Tour with Speedboat & Lunch begins in Ho Chi Minh City, departing early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat and maximize time on the water. The journey follows the winding Mekong River, traveling southward into the heart of the delta region. Guests board a comfortable speedboat that swiftly navigates the river's channels, offering close-up views of the lush landscape and traditional river life. Along the route, the boat stops at several villages and small islands where visitors can step ashore to visit local homes, tropical fruit gardens, and artisanal workshops. The day includes a midday meal featuring regional specialties served at a riverside restaurant, providing a chance to taste fresh, locally sourced ingredients while enjoying views of the water. Key stops include a bee farm where the hum of busy bees fills the air and the scent of wildflowers lingers, allowing visitors to observe honey production methods that have been practiced for generations. At a fish farm, the sight and sound of carp and catfish swimming beneath wooden docks highlight the importance of aquaculture in the delta’s economy. The tour also visits a tropical garden abundant with jackfruit, durian, and rambutan trees, where the sweet and sometimes pungent aromas mingle. Visitors walk through shaded pathways lined with fruit trees and seasonal flowers, experiencing the delta’s natural bounty firsthand. Traditional basket weaving demonstrations and local markets showcase the daily crafts and trade that sustain these communities. Tour groups are kept small, generally capped at around 12 participants, to maintain an intimate atmosphere and allow the guide to engage with each guest. The guide provides detailed explanations in clear English, sharing insights into the daily life, farming techniques, and environmental challenges of the Mekong Delta. Transport is handled via a modern air-conditioned coach from Ho Chi Minh City to the boat dock, followed by the speedboat ride along the river. The itinerary balances time on the water with short walks in shaded, flat terrain, making the pace manageable but active. This tour is well-suited for travelers interested in rural life and ecological systems, as well as those who appreciate fresh local food and gentle outdoor activity. It offers a break from the urban environment of Ho Chi Minh City, inviting participants to observe and absorb the rhythms of one of Southeast Asia's most important river ecosystems. Individuals who enjoy photography or have an interest in agriculture and traditional crafts will find the stops particularly engaging.

This tour gives you a quick overview of the Mekong Delta; then exit with your boat cruise upstream on the Mekong River to Cambodia.

Authentic Stories from Diners
Unforgettable dining experience in a complete darkness. We learn to rely more on the other four senses and the same time enjoying delicious meals that have been prepared for us. Grateful for the blessings to be able to see things with our eyes. Appreciate and understand those attentive, friendly servers. who are without eye sights. Yet these servers navigate and move swiftly and smoothly attending our dining experience. They are truly the stars of the experience. Obviously no phones, no electronics inside the restaurants so no pictures. Be prepared to learn, to appreciate, and to enjoy.
My girlfriend and I dined at Noir: Dining in the Dark on 05Dec2025 as part of a package with the AO Show by Lune Production (highly recommend both - do reserve ahead). I booked online a day before and received confirmation within a few hours. This was one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had. The 11-course meal was a delight overall, with a few standout dishes and others that were simpler but still pleasant. The space is stylish and inviting, easing you in before the main event. After a welcome drink and a short blindfolded activity to awaken your senses, the real journey begins - being guided in total darkness to your table. That moment was the most eye-opening. Our server, Phu, confidently led us through every nook and cranny with such calm precision. In complete darkness, she knew the space better than anyone else. It was humbling, and it made me reflect on how much we rely on sight. The first few minutes felt disorienting (I even got a little dizzy), but once I surrendered to the darkness, the experience became immersive and meaningful. My advice: relax, don’t worry about spilling anything, trust your guide, and fully give yourself to the moment. Good luck… to an experience that quietly reminds you that what is essential is invisible to the eye.
This experience simply blew my mind. I'm so pleased this venue was recommended by friends. You must book well in advance of your trip, but you won't be disappointed. You have an option of Western or Vietnamese food, if you are up for the challenge, go for the Vietnamese. Once inside the venue and it's stunning reception area, whilst having a drink, you will be given a couple of games to challenge your senses. You play them blindfolded. The staff team are amazing, the food, although I could not see it, was fantastic. I have to thank the whole staff team for making this visit so memorable. Give yourself 3 hours for the experience, be on time or you will lose out.
VERY, VERY INTERESTING EXPERIENCE The staff is super wonderful . We came in on a rainy Sunday evening. We were greeted with umbrella upon leaving the car , towels to dry off, as well as welcome drinks (we had the option of a cocktail and a mock tail). The drinks were tasty, nothing to rave about. I would wish to highlight the curated interior of the lobby and bathroom. Very impressed. The decor and furniture of the lobby area was quite elegant. But let’s talk about the main event. An immersive dining experience where youre teleported into a sensory deprivation room. While the sense of sight is taken as the dining room is completely pitch black, other senses like hearing, smelling, feel and taste are enhanced . We opted for the 3 course (11 dish) tasting. It’s approximately $45 USD per person (before drinks) but totally worth it. All electronics or light emitting devices are stowed away into a private locker, and we were guided by our host. All hosts are blind and have memorized the layout of the restaurant. The service feels like tht of any noteworthy restaurant . All 11 dishes were interesting and unique . We liked some more than others, but the overall experience is worth EVERY PENNY! If you’re ever in Saigon (HCMC) ADD THIS TO YOUR LIST! PS. Sorry I wasn’t able to add more photos , no phones allowed 😉😉😉
Brilliant and exactly what you expect. You arrive, get your briefing and choose your menu. Then you go into an extremely dark room, so dark that there is no difference between eyes opened or closed. We ate 14 dishes in 4 courses. Our waitress was absolutely brilliant, funny and so good at explaining everything from the location of your drink to her every move at the table. At first we were all a bit uncomfortable and scared, but by the end we were so comfortable and sad it was over! Seeing the menu items at the end also blew our mind. A brilliant experience from start to finish. You should definitely give it a try. We eat with our eyes first, so taking this sense away really changed the whole experience!
