Tours & Activities in Ho Chi Minh City

This experience suits travelers who appreciate traditional performing arts and are interested in local customs presented in an accessible format. It is ideal for those seeking an evening activity that differs from typical urban nightlife, including families with older children, cultural enthusiasts, and visitors wanting to combine live entertainment with other Ho Chi Minh City experiences like river dining or scenic city rides. The show’s gentle pace and seating arrangement make it suitable for a wide range of guests.

This Mekong Delta Premium Tour with Speedboat & Lunch begins in Ho Chi Minh City, departing early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat and maximize time on the water. The journey follows the winding Mekong River, traveling southward into the heart of the delta region. Guests board a comfortable speedboat that swiftly navigates the river's channels, offering close-up views of the lush landscape and traditional river life. Along the route, the boat stops at several villages and small islands where visitors can step ashore to visit local homes, tropical fruit gardens, and artisanal workshops. The day includes a midday meal featuring regional specialties served at a riverside restaurant, providing a chance to taste fresh, locally sourced ingredients while enjoying views of the water. Key stops include a bee farm where the hum of busy bees fills the air and the scent of wildflowers lingers, allowing visitors to observe honey production methods that have been practiced for generations. At a fish farm, the sight and sound of carp and catfish swimming beneath wooden docks highlight the importance of aquaculture in the delta’s economy. The tour also visits a tropical garden abundant with jackfruit, durian, and rambutan trees, where the sweet and sometimes pungent aromas mingle. Visitors walk through shaded pathways lined with fruit trees and seasonal flowers, experiencing the delta’s natural bounty firsthand. Traditional basket weaving demonstrations and local markets showcase the daily crafts and trade that sustain these communities. Tour groups are kept small, generally capped at around 12 participants, to maintain an intimate atmosphere and allow the guide to engage with each guest. The guide provides detailed explanations in clear English, sharing insights into the daily life, farming techniques, and environmental challenges of the Mekong Delta. Transport is handled via a modern air-conditioned coach from Ho Chi Minh City to the boat dock, followed by the speedboat ride along the river. The itinerary balances time on the water with short walks in shaded, flat terrain, making the pace manageable but active. This tour is well-suited for travelers interested in rural life and ecological systems, as well as those who appreciate fresh local food and gentle outdoor activity. It offers a break from the urban environment of Ho Chi Minh City, inviting participants to observe and absorb the rhythms of one of Southeast Asia's most important river ecosystems. Individuals who enjoy photography or have an interest in agriculture and traditional crafts will find the stops particularly engaging.

Authentic Stories from Diners
Great food and great customer service! Highly recommended! The baby cuttlefish with spicy fried garlic is amazing!
Delicious food and super attentive staff. We ordered the special combo and the garlic noodles and both were generous sized portions and super tasty. The staff will even help to cut up the crab for you so it’s easier to eat. They give you plastic gloves and warm water at the end to clean your hands. A little pricier than local food but still great value for what you get
If you’re from the States and know of Boiling Crab, this place is 10x better. The sauce is soooo good and the spice level was perfect (we did the all in one sauce with slightly below medium sauce and it was still a bit spicy). Service was excellent and super attentive. Our plates were switched out frequently and the trash bowl emptied multiple times. They even saw us struggling with the crab and offered to crack it for us lol. We ordered a 1/2 kg of tiger prawns, snails, and the popular milky crab roe (which also comes with the rest of the crab). Highly recommended to stop by if you’re into Cajun-Vietnamese fusion seafood!
Ohh this place is a restaurant we didn’t see coming. It’s the kind of spot you go to when you’re craving something familiar and comforting. My fiancé and I dined here for some seafood boil and gosh it was the perfect choice. Such a great place for a welcome dinner or lunch especially after a long day of travel. For 2 to 3 people my recommendations: 1. Calamari 2. Option 3 Seafood Boil in Cajun Sauce (ask for it a little spicy) with scallops, crawfish, shrimp, and the sausage that comes with it was amazing 3. Hong Kong Style Mud Crabs around 710 grams which was priced at about 1 million dong, more or less, and worth every bit 4. Optional Rockefeller Oysters, very juicy and fresh but I think they’re even better eaten raw with lime For drinks: Loved the Lychee Iced Tea and if you want something alcoholic try the Zing THE STAFF ARE GREAT!! THEY’RE ALWAYS WATCHING OUT FOR YOU AND ALWAYS ON THE GO! SUPER ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY!
This was quite a great experience. I got the garlic octopus, the crab with milk and the margarita (the zing) it was all great. The portion sizes however are a little deceiving. The pictures in the menu are not quite the same amount as the food that is presented on the plate. I love my food though. It was a 10/10. I also just realised, food in Vietnam can never be bad. They know their way around spices and what to incorporate into their delicacies. They make even foreign delicacies taste ..better.
